Our winery
Three vineyards, one maxim: Whether in Radda, in Castellina or in the Maremma, our focus is always on the highest quality, sustainability and locality. Here you can find out where the grapes come from, what distinguishes the climate and soil at each location, why we always produce in harmony with nature and what we attach particular importance to when working in the cellar.
Our history
Today, high-quality organic wines are vinified on Brancaia and sold worldwide. The cellars of the winery and a logistics center meet the highest standards. Professional guided wine tours and tastings await visitors. Then you can let yourself be pampered in the estate’s own osteria with a large terrace.
That was not always so.
Tours & Tastings
On our estate, which has been lovingly developed, we offer you the entire Brancaia product range for tasting, the wines from Castellina and Radda in Chianti as well as those from Maremma. Our portfolio includes six red wines as well as one white and one rosé wine. They all have a unique, unmistakable character and are typical of the place where the grapes were grown.
Osteria brancaia
Typically Toscana – down-to-earth & refined at the same time.
Our head chef Giovanni Palladino used to work as a waiter in a restaurant in the nearby town of Castellina – and loved to talk about the dishes he prepared at home. Because these stories made our mouth water, we booked him for a test dinner without further ado. Lo and behold: the menu was really as good as he had promised: a culinary reflection of the region and the season, down-to-earth, but also imaginative and sophisticated.
Holidays at the winery
It is a magical place, our old Tuscan farm on the Brancaia hill near Radda in Chianti. Wonderfully sunny and yet kissed by a pleasantly cool wind on hot days. Surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and fields, in the air the scent of herbs and flowers. Enjoy the charm of the property, which has been restored with much love and care, in whose historical walls you will find all modern comforts.
